When Should I Apply?
Once you have selected the course have verified that you meet all entry requirements, you are good to enrol. To start the admission process, please click on 'Apply Now' button on home page and fill in the form. You may be required to upload documents such as, your recent passport size photo with blue background; your transcripts; medical report in EMGS format and all pages of your passport in colour.
If you do not have any of the documents at the time of applying, that is fine. Go ahead with filling up the form. You are allowed to send us the remaining documents later by email. You must note that we will only be able to apply for your visa once we have received all of the above mentioned documents as it is immigration department requirement. Local students must enrol 2 weeks before the start of the course. International students must apply at least 6 weeks before the start of the course.

How Long Does the Process Take?

Letter of Offer - Within 1 business day
Visa Applied- Within 1 business day of meeting all requirements
Estimated Time for Visa Approval- 4-6 weeks
When Will I Know If I am Accepted?
Once your application has been processed and all necessary documentation has been received and approved, you will receive the following-
- Unconditional Letter of Offer; and
- Acceptance Letter
It is very important that your application and admissions requirements be complete and accurate when they are submitted to IABT. An incomplete file is likely to delay the processing and will likely result in postponement of your class start.
When Can I Start?
IABT has multiple intakes in a year. Contact your international admissions advisor for the next available start date that works best for you to achieve your educational and career goals. Our upcoming In-take dates are-

International students can start after they have received their visa approval and they have obtained visa evidencing from their local Embassy of Malaysia. Once you have obtained your single entry visa, you can fly in to join your nominated intake. For countries that do not have Malaysian Consular Office, please contact our friendly Admissions Counsellor.
Upon Arrival at Airport
Immigration Clearance at Kuala Lumpur International Airport
When you arrive for the first time in Malaysia on a student visa, you must bring along-
- your passport which is endorsed with single entry visa
- the letter of approval from the Malaysian Immigration Department
- letter of offer provided
These documents will be required at the Immigration counter. Our representative will welcome you at the airport’s immigration counter and will assist you in the immigration clearance. Please note that if you are coming with a IABT provided visa, you will not be allowed to clear immigration check on your own. Therefore, it is a requirement that you inform us of your arrival at least 7 working days before your actual arrival by sending your copy of the ticket. We also advise that we provide immigration clearance and airport pickup services on monday to friday between 8am and 6pm only. Any services provided outside of these timings will be charged extra.
Airport Pick-up Services
Those students who have chosen to avail our fantastic Airport Pickup services will be advised by our friendly staff after clearance from immigration counter and will guide you to the designated vehicle. The driver will then take you to the accommodation you have booked through us or you may also provide your own address within KL Metropolitan where you want to be dropped off. You may also take your own taxi from the airport.
